Water Removal and Damage Restoration
PNW is your go-to water removal and restoration experts in West Linn, Oregon. We are there when you need us to remove the water and begin the clean-up and restoration process immediately. We want to help you recover quickly, and properly, from any type of water damage and emergencies such as a flood or leak.
We break down water damage into 3 categories which will help us understand how bad the water damage will be, and how to remove the water and clean the damage.
Category 1 is a water intrusion from a clean source meaning there is a low risk for health problems. This would be a leak from a freshwater source or a flooded sink/tub. This water removal is easier, and affected materials can usually be left in place to be dried.
Category 2 is water that has a higher chemical, physical, or biological contamination. If category 1 water is left unfixed, this will turn into category 2 when the water gets into the flooring or walls. With this water damage, all affected materials will need to be deep cleaned and decontaminated or replaced.
Category 3 is water that is extremely unsanitary carrying diseases with it. Here, all affected materials have to be removed and disposed of. A category 3 water intrusion would come from sources such as sewer lines, septic tanks, flooding from outdoor.
